A clean and fresh healthy recipe with a robust but simple flavor
Ingredients
- 1 pc Salmon fillet Seasoned generously with sea salt, pepper, powdered dried garlic and cayenne
- 3 cloves Garlic Peeled and cut in half
- 1/2 Lemon
- a small handful Beet stems cleaned and diced
Instructions
- FISH
Season the salmon generously with sea salt, black pepper, ground dried garlic and a bit of cayenne pepper. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and stick it in a pre-heated oven on high - top shelf for 12 minutes.
I like my salmon semi-cooked and juicy. If you prefer it dry and tough, you can leave it in the oven longer. But not for me.
Let the fish rest for a few minutes before serving.
- BEET STEMS
Stir fry the cleaned and diced beet stems with the garlic in some olive oil for about 5 - 8 minutes on medium heat. Season only with sea salt and pepper.
Pop onto a plate, place the rested salmon on top, and give it a good squeeze of lemon juice. Drizzle with oil from the salmon cooking pan, and you are ready to tuck in. Nice!
